On September 28, 2019, Sanjiang Chemical’s 1 million tons of ethylene project, 1 million tons of EO/EG main device started construction in Jiaxing, Zhejiang.
Sanjiang Chemical Co., Ltd. was established in December 2003. It is located in the Economic Development Zone of Jiaxing Port District, Zhejiang Province. It is next to Zhapu Port, a national first-class open port. Hangzhou, Suzhou and Ningbo constitute an one-hour economic circle.
After fifteen years of development, a chemical industry cluster with six companies as the core has been formed: Sanjiang Chemical Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Jiahua Energy Chemical Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Sanjiang Chemical New Material Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Xingxing New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Meifu Petrochemical Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Zhapu Meifu Wharf Storage Co., Ltd.
In 2018, the whole group achieved sales revenue of 24.881 billion yuan, created profits of 1.6 billion yuan, and paid taxes of 2.826 billion yuan. In 2019, the group will formulate the 13th Five-Year project plan around the goal of creating a market value of 100 billion:
