BASF's Coatings Business Unit and Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) Global Headquarters recently signed a cooperation agreement on BASF's high-end refinish paint brands Glasurit® Parrot® and R-M®, providing Jaguar Land Rover's global body and car paint projects in 16 importing countries in the Asia-Pacific region development and implementation and marketing support.

According to the agreement, the two parties will carry out long-term strategic cooperation to jointly promote Jaguar Land Rover to exceed industry standards in body repair and paint repair. In addition to supplying automotive refinish paint products and color matching solutions, BASF will also appoint a dedicated Asia-Pacific body and paint project manager to support the development and implementation of Jaguar Land Rover's global body and paint projects in the Asia-Pacific region.

BASF will work closely with Jaguar Land Rover and provide it with expertise and methods through a global support network to ensure that the total solution of automotive refinish paint meets the most stringent refinish specifications and workmanship standards. In addition to Glasurit® Glasurit® refinish paints and R-M®, BASF will also provide easy-to-use Rodim® brand paint application accessories to ensure high-quality and efficient damage repair processes.

As part of this agreement, BASF will also provide comprehensive value-added service solutions (ABS) to help Jaguar Land Rover increase the profitability and efficiency of its authorized repair stations and designated dealer network. It includes a range of innovative services, tools, training and workshop performance management modules designed to help Jaguar Land Rover authorized workshops optimize their processes and improve overall performance.
