Main product PBAT

Main product PBS
PBS fully biodegradable resin is produced by continuous polymerization method with succinic acid (hereinafter referred to as SA) and butanediol (hereinafter referred to as BDO).
PBS resin is milky white, odorless and tasteless, easily decomposed and metabolized by various microorganisms in nature or enzymes in animals and plants, and finally decomposed into carbon dioxide and water , is a typical fully biodegradable polymer material.
PBS has a density of 1.26g/cm3 and a melting point of 114°C. According to the molecular weight and molecular weight distribution, the crystallinity is 30~45%. The performance of PBS is between polyethylene and polypropylene, and it can be directly used as plastic processing.
PBS has good heat resistance, and its heat distortion temperature is close to 100°C. After modification, the service temperature can exceed 100°C. It overcomes the shortcomings of low heat-resistant temperature of other biodegradable plastics; it has good processing performance and can be used for extrusion, injection molding, blown film, blister and other molding processes on existing polyolefin general-purpose plastic processing equipment. Plastics have the best processing performance; at the same time, a large amount of fillers such as calcium carbonate and starch can be blended during processing to obtain products with relatively low prices.
Process Technology Scheme
The flexible design of the production equipment of the project can produce products including PBS, PBAT and PBSA. The 240,000 t/a polyester biodegradable resin project of this project adopts the continuous polymerization process of Jima three-pot.
General Process Description
The project adopts esterification-polymerization process for resin production.
The polyester biodegradable resin device consists of the following parts: raw material preparation, esterification, polycondensation, chip production, heat medium heating, BDO feeding, THF recovery, BDO recovery.
(1) Raw material preparation includes raw material PTA feed, AA feed, SA feed, additive addition, slurry preparation, etc.
(2) The esterification part includes the esterification reactor and its supporting equipment, such as the heat medium system for heating in this section, the process tower, and the liquid ring vacuum pump and its ancillary equipment.
(3) The polycondensation part includes pre-condensation reactors and finishing reactors and their supporting equipment, such as condensation,Spray condenser for separating vapor phase and its supporting equipment, equipment for generating vacuum, etc.
(4) The slice production part includes melt conveying, casting belt and pelletizing, slice cooling water circulation, slice storage and packaging, etc.
(5) Heat medium heating part includes heat medium furnace and its supporting equipment (low nitrogen burner, blower, etc.), heat medium circulating pump, heat medium Storage tanks, natural gas control equipment, etc.
(6) BDO feeding part includes BDO intermediate storage tank, BDO feeding pump, etc.
(7) The THF recovery part includes three THF rectification towers and their ancillary equipment (such as tower top condenser, tower bottom pump, etc.), THF storage cans etc.
