As the world’s second largest manufacturer of polymer stabilizers in terms of production capacity and sales, SONGWON has highlighted the importance of promoting its cooperative companies in China and the implementation of its strategies at this exhibition. “Songwon has noticed that China is the fastest-growing country and region in the global polyolefin industry. Songwon hopes to grow together with China’s polyolefin industry.” Philippe Schlaepfer, Executive Vice President and Head of the Functional Chemicals Division of Sungwon Industrial Co., Ltd. said Mr.
Compared with competitors, Songwon has more than 50 years of production experience and has a rich product line, including polymer stabilizers, alkylphenols and alkylcresols, PVC stabilizers, plasticizers, tin For intermediates, polyurethane, SAP and coagulants, Songyuan’s biggest advantage lies in the integration of resources to realize the integration of this industrial chain. Songwon’s strategic focus in China is to establish joint ventures. Through the establishment of a joint venture, the two parties are encouraged to support each other, maximize their respective advantages, achieve complementary advantages, and achieve win-win cooperation, thereby realizing “mutual integration”. At this stage, Songyuan is committed to establishing a joint venture with Qingdao Fenghua Haolong Chemical Auxiliary Co., Ltd. to build a world-class manufacturing plant for SONGNOX® one-stop system production. It will start full operation in the first quarter, with an estimated production capacity of 6,000 tons. After completion, the production capacity of the factory will be fully put into the Chinese market; this is the second joint venture established by Songyuan in China after Songyuan Baifu established a joint venture with Tangshan Baifu Chemical Co., Ltd. in 2011.
SONGNOX® One-stop System (OPS) integrates various complex additives into dust-free spherical particles, which can provide customers with a comprehensive service toolkit, and design various products according to customer requirements. Solutions, and the products are durable and able to withstand the test of harsh environments, and can be widely used in end applications such as the automotive industry. With the continuous development and growth of China’s auto industry, Songyuan is very optimistic about this market. “The completion and operation of the Qingdao factory will be of great help to Songyuan’s business in China. Songyuan can use this to enter the large polyolefin enterprises in China, directly face customers, and have the opportunity to become a strategic partner of large enterprises such as Sinopec. ” emphasizes Mr. Philippe Schlaepfer. In addition to SONGNOX® One-Stop System (OPS), the joint venture will also sell other polymer additive products domestically.
In addition, Tiantian Chemical Network is also very concerned about the cooperation between Songyuan and Sabo, the world’s second largest light stabilizer manufacturer. Headquartered in Levate, Italy, Sabo is a world-leading producer of monomolecular and polymeric HALS (Hindered Amine Light Stabilizers). Songwon has signed a global exclusive sales agency agreement with Sabo to cooperate closely with the hindered amine light stabilizer market outside Europe. Mr. Philippe Schlaepfer said that Sabo is a company with a high degree of integration. It is competitive in terms of cost and can provide Chinese customers with better light stabilizers, especially in the fields of automobiles, outdoor products, and agricultural films.
During the “13th Five-Year Plan” period, Songyuan hopes to be good at environmental protection, customer service, and improvement of manufacturing level in addition to products.
