The PBAT and PBS plant with an annual output of 30,000 tons of Xuke New Materials will be put into trial operation soon!

In the No. 2 workshop of Xuke New Materials (Shandong) Co., Ltd., the PBAT and PBS production equipment with an annual output of 30,000 tons is undergoing final commissioning, and it is planned to start trial operation in mid-to-late July.

PBAT and PBS are widely used degradable plastic raw materials in the world. They can achieve effective degradation, replace some traditional non-degradable plastics, and have a positive effect on improving the environment.

Not long ago, Xuke New Materials Co., Ltd. successfully put into operation the world's first petroleum-based 10,000-ton maleic anhydride hydrogenation project to prepare succinic anhydride, and stably produced high-quality succinic anhydride products with a purity exceeding 99.5%. The commissioning of the PBAT and PBS production units will meet the demand for self-production and self-use of succinic anhydride products and verify some new achievements of the company.

Liu Shulin, Director of the General Department of Xuke New Materials (Shandong) Co., Ltd., said that Xuke New Materials can reach the leading level in the industry in terms of product quality, purity, and other indicators, including equipment operating costs. As a key development field of national strategic emerging industries, degradable materials are an important direction of new materials. The production of Xuke new material products will effectively connect the "oil head" and "plastic tail" of the green chemical new material industry in Ju County, and promote the development of the plastic industry cluster to high-end, green and integrated.

At present, the first phase of the project includes two sets of equipment, and the second phase also plans to expand production capacity. At that time, the production capacity of corresponding products will be increased to more than 100,000 tons, and the coordinated development of upstream and downstream products will be realized around the upcoming carbon four industrial chain.
