Avant and BASF collaborate to bring colored Ultrason™ to the global performance polymer market

June 26, 2023 - Avant and BASF have entered into a partnership to supply colored Ultrason® performance polymers to the global market. These colored polymers use BASF's Ultrason® polyarylethersulfone (PAES) as a high-quality substrate combined with Avant's Colorant Chromatics® high-temperature color formulation expertise for both colorant and pre-color solutions.

The outcome of this collaboration will offer customers in the Home & Food, Electrical & Electronics (E&E) and Healthcare industries a significant advantage in providing technical support from the base polymer to the final colored product. As a result, customers can more quickly respond to on-trend designs and meet technical requirements and color standards, resulting in faster time-to-market.
