At present, the mainstream medical protective clothing fabrics in the market generally use spunbond-meltblown-spunbond composite fabrics. It has deficiencies such as protective function, poor air permeability and moisture permeability, non-reusable, high cost per use, and serious pollution.

The fabric of the new protective clothing is composed of three layers: a hydrophobic layer, an antibacterial layer and a comfortable layer. The outermost layer is the protective layer. The polyester knitted fabric is treated with a silicone hydrophobic agent, and the superhydrophobic polyester fabric is made into a superhydrophobic polyester fabric through normal temperature and pressure plasma etching and induction technology, and high temperature baking treatment, which realizes waterproof and self-cleaning functions. The test results of professional institutions show that the fabric has excellent washing fastness and rubbing fastness, which provides a guarantee for the reusability of the final product.

The middle layer of fabric is an insulating layer. The team first used the chemical in-situ reduction method to prepare a highly efficient and stable nano-silver antibacterial agent with a particle size of about 10nm in a water-based polyurethane system by adjusting the concentration of silver nitrate, the amount of polyurethane and the reaction temperature, which can achieve low loading and high antibacterial Rate. When laminating the film and the base fabric, the film surface is glued in dots, diamond-shaped glue dots. Due to the small effective adhesion area of ​​the mesh cloth, the mesh cloth is used for gluing when attaching the mesh cloth. After repeated optimization of the amount of gluing, coating pressure, compounding pressure, curing temperature and other processes, a high degree of compounding of the three-layer structure was finally achieved, while ensuring the integrity of the structural functions of each layer, and achieving the goal of integrated design.

Professional test results show that the composite protective fabric has excellent performance in terms of filtration efficiency, water impermeability, synthetic blood penetration resistance, breaking strength, moisture permeability, water resistance, electrostatic attenuation and antibacterial properties. At the same time, after the protective clothing was decontaminated multiple times with different disinfectants, the performance of the protective fabric changed slightly in all aspects, showing excellent reusability.

Based on the research and development of high moisture conductivity reusable protective fabrics and the development of two-way temperature-regulating equipment, the R&D team optimized the details of the existing protective clothing based on ergonomics, and completed the integration of protective clothing and two-way temperature-regulating devices. While ensuring the protective effect, the heat and moisture transfer effect of the clothing is greatly improved, and a new type of protective clothing is finally produced. The new type of protective clothing can meet the protection needs of users in different indoor and outdoor environments. It not only greatly improves the wearing comfort, but also greatly reduces the single-use cost.

Since February 2022, the new type of protective clothing has been tested by a total of 3,806 people in many hospitals and health units. Feedback from the use results shows that the product has reliable protective performance, is easy to put on and take off, and can effectively improve wearing comfort and work efficiency.
