In the second week of August coal prices in Yunnan Province fell slightly month-on-month

According to the Ministry of Commerce's important means of production market monitoring system, this week (August 7-13, 2023), the average coal price in Yunnan Province was 1,255 yuan/ton, a month-on-month decrease of 0.3%. Among them, the average price of anthracite coal was 1,000 yuan/ton, which was the same as the previous month; the average price of coking coal was 1,950 yuan/ton, which was the same as the previous month; the average price of thermal coal was 815 yuan/ton, which was 1.2% lower than the previous month. The purchasing demand in the downstream market was not strong, and the coal price fell slightly from the previous month. It is expected that in the later period, the supply and demand of the coal market will be stable, and the price may stabilize.
