According to the Zhejiang Provincial Important Production Materials Market Monitoring System, this week (August 14-August 20), the thermal coal price of monitored sample enterprises in Zhejiang Province was 793.30 yuan/ton, a price decrease of 2.6% month-on-month. Recently, as the market gradually enters the end of the peak season, the power plant's daily coal consumption has become relatively limited, and the price of thermal coal has dropped. In the later period, the supporting role of seasonal factors in the market will continue to weaken, and the demand for spot purchases from power plants will be limited. It is expected that thermal coal prices may be weak and fluctuate in the short term.
