SONGWON announces new leadership of coatings business unit

Songwon Industrial Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce Steffen Dobberstein as the new leader of the Coatings Business Unit (BU), appointed since
Effective September 11, 2023.

As leader of the coatings business unit, Steffen
Dobberstein will actively take the lead and be committed to defining and promoting coatings strategies and further enhancing SONGWON’s position in the global coatings industry. He will report to Hans, head of group commercial department
Werhonig reports directly.

Steffen Dobberstein has extensive professional experience. During his tenure, he will use his expertise in B2B
Deep expertise in marketing/pricing strategies, extensive leadership experience, and 10 years of coatings industry knowledge. Before joining SONGWON, he served as Vice President of Strategic Pricing at Dormakaba, Geberit
Head of AG’s International Sales Department and Manager of Synthomer’s Global Coatings Business Department. Steffen
Dobberstein holds a master’s degree in business administration and economics from the University of Berlin and has been deeply involved in the coatings industry for more than ten years.

Steffen Dobberstein will succeed Rosanna Telesca as head of the Coatings business unit.
Telesca has worked hard over the past nine years and successfully built SONGWON’s coatings business unit. She has made outstanding contributions to the success of SONGWON, for which the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee express their sincere gratitude and wish her all the best in her future personal and professional development.
