Evonik expands catalyst production capacity in China

● The precious metal powder catalyst factory in Shanghai has been relocated and expanded

Evonik announced the completion of the relocation and expansion of its precious metal powder catalyst factory in Shanghai, China. The new factory is located at Evonik’s China Multi-User Site (MUSC) in the Shanghai Chemical Industry Park and will be officially put into production in the fourth quarter of 2023. With the completion of the expansion, Evonik will double its precious metal catalyst production capacity in China.

Precious metal powder catalysts can be widely used in industrial chemicals, life sciences, fine chemicals and other fields. Evonik promotes and sells its products under the brand name Noblyst® P.
