According to reports, magnesium and aluminum alloy products are widely used in automobiles, construction, packaging, transportation, electric power, aerospace, military industry, photovoltaic solar energy, home appliances and other fields. During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, the provincial party committee and the provincial government vigorously developed the new material industry and implemented the "six-based" improvement plan including magnesium-based and aluminum-based. At present, our city is focusing on the development of magnesium-based and aluminum-based new material industries, based on the national and provincial strategic layout, giving full play to the leading role of the Baomai light alloy project, accelerating the chain extension, solidification and strengthening of the chain, and promoting the industrial chain to the value chain High end extension. After the completion of the center, it will be driven by market demand, promote the in-depth integration of government, industry, academia, inspection and research, reduce R&D and testing costs, improve corporate efficiency, and assist the high-quality development of magnesium-based and aluminum-based industries.
As the construction unit of the center, the Municipal Quality Inspection Institute has nearly 800 advanced instruments and equipment, has passed CNAS and CMA qualification certification, and has more than 1,000 testing products and parameters. Its inspection and testing capabilities cover non-metallic mineral products, non-metallic mineral products, and non-metallic mineral products.
