It is understood that the construction of this crossing is to take advantage of the power outage maintenance window period of the 500 kV Jialin Line of Sichuan Power Grid to achieve only one power outage and complete the three operation sections of the Sichuan-Chongqing UHV and Jinshang-Hubei UHV projects. At the same time, cross the release line. This minimizes outage time.
The Jinshang-Hubei UHV project is the first UHV project passing through the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, and the Sichuan-Chongqing UHV project is the first UHV AC project in southwest my country. Both projects are scheduled to be put into operation in the summer of 2025 and completed. In total, it can deliver approximately 75 billion kilowatt hours of electricity per year.
