Coal market prices in Fujian Province rose steadily in the first week of September

According to monitoring data from the Ministry of Commerce’s important production data monitoring system, the coal market price of monitoring sample enterprises in Fujian Province this week (September 4-10, 2023) averaged 1,468.00 yuan/ton, an increase of 0.4% month-on-month. Among them, the market price of anthracite coal was 1,240.00 yuan/ton, a month-on-month increase of 0.2%; the bituminous coal market price was 1,582.00 yuan/ton, a month-on-month increase of 0.4%. Overall, the coal market prices of monitoring sample enterprises in Fujian Province rose steadily last week. At present, coal mines maintain normal production, coal supply is stable, downstream steel plants maintain normal production, and there is still demand for bituminous coal, which has driven a rebound in coal market prices. It is expected that coal market prices in Fujian Province may adjust steadily in the future due to changes in supply and demand.
