The average price of coal in Shaanxi Province fell slightly in the third week of September

According to the Ministry of Commerce’s important production data market monitoring system, from September 16 to September 22, the average price of coal in Shaanxi Province was 1,238.0 yuan/ton, a month-on-month decrease of 0.2%. Among them: anthracite coal was 1,385.0 yuan/ton, the same as the previous month; coking coal was 1,580.0 yuan/ton, down 1.0% from the previous month. Entering September, the demand for coal consumption from Shaanxi power plants is declining, but non-electricity demand such as chemical industry, metallurgy, building materials and other industries have entered the peak demand season of "Golden September and Silver Ten", which will drive up coal prices. It is expected that Shaanxi coal prices may have some room to rise in the future.
