Polyol producer Stepan has received the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) PLUS certification for its Wesseling plant in Germany. The product portfolio produced at the Wesseling plant in Germany includes aromatic polyester polyols.
This is Stepan’s first ISCC PLUS certified production facility. The company said it is working towards certification of more of its production plants by the end of 2023. It also utilizes the EcoVadis assessment platform to assess key suppliers against established sustainability criteria.
