On September 27, Huadian Group launched a centralized procurement bidding for the third batch of photovoltaic modules in 2023. The bidding project is divided into 6 bidding sections, with a project scale of 8950.9136MW. The scale of N-type procurement has reached 7.46GW.
It is worth noting that bidding sections one to four are centralized photovoltaic projects with a bidding capacity of 2950.9136MW; bidding sections five to six are frameworks The bidding section is applicable to some photovoltaic infrastructure projects and some technical transformation projects of Huadian Group that have module demand before the first quarter of 2024. The fifth bid section is a P-type module frame bid section, and the bidding capacity is tentatively set at 4.5GW. The sixth bid section is a P-type module frame bid section, and the bidding capacity is tentatively set at 1.5GW. The bidding capacity is only a tentative estimate. The tenderer does not guarantee the accuracy of the procurement project and is not responsible for the difference between the actual procurement quantity and the bidding scale. During the execution of the framework, the execution capacity of each bid section can fluctuate up or down by 0.5GW based on the bidding capacity, but the total execution capacity of the two bid sections shall not exceed 6GW. The framework is valid from the effective date of the framework agreement to June 30, 2024.
In addition, if the project has clear requirements for component specifications, the bidder must provide them as required. The specific component specifications and power requirements of each project shall be subject to the technical part of the bidding document. Due to uncontrollable factors such as project land use and design, the actual procurement scale of the project may deviate from the bidding scale. The specific procurement amount shall be subject to the actual needs of the project.
In bidding sections one to four, if there are special circumstances such as the bidding price exceeds the project's affordability or the project construction conditions are not met, the project may not be implemented. The bidding results of the corresponding bidding sections.
The bid opening time for this bidding project is October 18.
So far this year, Huadian Group has opened three batches of module bidding, with a total scale of 15.23GW. The first two batches of procurement scale are 6.28GW. The scale is 2.2GW, and the second batch is 4.08GW. The procurement scale of three batches of N-type modules is as high as 8.38GW.
