(1) Improve the workability of concrete and reduce single water consumption. The strength of concrete is related to the water-cement ratio. Reducing the water-cement ratio can increase the strength of concrete, improve the impermeability, frost resistance and durability of concrete and slow down the corrosion of steel bars in concrete.
(2) According to the water-reducing efficiency, water-reducing agents can be divided into ordinary water-reducing agents and high-efficiency water-reducing agents. Ordinary water reducing agents require water reduction >5%. Commonly used ordinary water-reducing agents include calcium lignosulfonate water-reducing agent. High-efficiency water reducing agents require a water reduction rate >10%. Currently commonly used are polyalkyl aryl sulfonates and melamine water reducing agents.
Concrete, referred to as "concrete (tóng)": refers to the general name of engineering composite materials that are made of cementitious materials that bind aggregates into a whole. It is mainly used to improve the workability of concrete, reduce water consumption, reduce cement consumption, and use it together with mineral admixtures to greatly improve the impermeability and durability of concrete.
