[Background and Overview][1]
The chemical name of Pinakryptol Yellow is 6-ethoxy-1-methyl-2-(3-nitrostyryl)quinoline sulfate methyl ester salt, also known as Pinakryptol Yellow, and its English name is Pinakryptol Yellow , CAS number is 25910-85-4, molecular formula is C21H22N2O7S, molecular weight: 446.11500; PSA: 133.74000; LogP: 4.83860. Melting point 260-262 °C(lit.).
If inhaled, please move the patient to fresh air; if there is skin contact, take off contaminated clothing, rinse the skin thoroughly with soap and water, and seek medical attention if you feel uncomfortable; if the eyes are clear, In case of contact, separate eyelids, rinse with running water or saline, and seek medical attention immediately; if ingested, rinse mouth immediately, do not induce vomiting, and seek medical attention immediately. Advice to protect rescuers is as follows: Move the patient to a safe place, consult a doctor, and if conditions permit, please show this chemical safety data sheet to the doctor who comes to the scene. If there is a small leak, collect the leaked liquid in a sealable container as much as possible, absorb it with sand, activated carbon or other inert materials, and transfer it to a safe place. Do not flush it into the sewer; if there is a large leak, build a dike or dig a pit. Contain, seal the drainage pipe, cover it with foam to inhibit evaporation, use an explosion-proof pump to transfer it to a tanker or a special collector, and recycle or transport it to a waste treatment site for disposal.
【Synthesis】 [2]
Use m-nitrobenzaldehyde as raw material to synthesize 6-ethoxy-1-methyl-2-(3-nitrostyryl)quinoline methyl sulfate salt. The reaction equation is as follows:
[Application][3]
Method of modifying fibers and/or textiles with an antimicrobial active component comprising a silver component desensitized with other components and optionally one or more additional antimicrobial groups , wherein the other component used includes at least one compound selected from quinoline derivatives. Preferably the antimicrobially active component applied to the fibers or textiles is a silver component desensitized with an additional component comprising pinacinol yellow. Frequently, the antimicrobially active component used contains a silver salt as silver component. In one embodiment of the invention, the antimicrobially active component used comprises as silver component an in situ formed silver salt and as an additional component pinacinol yellow. In one embodiment of the invention, the antimicrobially active component used comprises as silver component a silver salt and as desensitizing component at least one quinoline derivative and additionally a benzotriazole derivative.
The present invention also provides the following method, characterized in that the amount of the silver component is 0.0001-1.5% by weight (including, for example, 0.0001-0.5% by weight) based on the total weight of the fiber or textile. The hypoallergenic component used is a quinoline derivative in an amount of 0.1 ppm to 500 ppm based on the total weight of the fiber or textile. The desensitizing component comprises pinacryptol yellow as a single component or in combination with at least one other desensitizing component. The present invention also provides formulations containing 0.01%-10% silver component and 0.001%-2% pinacinol yellow.
