On October 7, 2023, the Turkish Ministry of Trade issued Announcement No. 2023/30 stating that in response to the application of Turkish domestic manufacturers Bando Kayış San. and Tic. (Türkiye) A.Ş. Vietnam's vulcanized rubber conveyor belt (Turkish: Transmisyon Kolonları) launched the third anti-dumping sunset review investigation. The products involved include vulcanized rubber conveyor belts with circumferences of 60 cm to 180 cm (inclusive), 180 cm to 240 cm (inclusive), and unlimited lengths with trapezoidal cross sections (except V-shaped grooves), involving Turkish tax numbers 4010.32, 4010.34, and 4010.39 products under. During the investigation of the case, the current anti-dumping duties will remain in effect. The announcement shall be effective from the date of issuance.
Stakeholders should submit questionnaires and evidence materials within 37 days from the date of filing the case.
On May 13, 2006, Turkey launched an anti-dumping investigation into vulcanized rubber conveyor belts originating from China, India and Vietnam. On March 31, 2007, Turkey began to impose anti-dumping duties of US$5.04/kg, US$3.5/kg, and US$4.55/kg respectively on the products involved in the above-mentioned countries. On March 20, 2012, Turkey launched its first sunset review investigation into the case. On March 15, 2013, Turkey made a final sunset review of the case, extending the anti-dumping duties on the products involved in the above-mentioned countries for the first time. On March 2, 2018, Turkey launched the second sunset review investigation into the case. On October 16, 2018, Turkey made its second sunset review final ruling on the case and continued to impose anti-dumping duties on vulcanized rubber conveyor belts from China, India and Vietnam, with the tax amounts being US$3.15/kg.
