Styrene-N-phenylmaleimide copolymer (MS-NIP) is white powder/granular and is commonly used as a heat-resistant modifier.
1. Product features:
The initial temperature of thermal decomposition is high and the decomposition gas is small (effective for mold pollution and low VOC in automobiles);
Outstanding moldability (fluidity);
Heat resistance imparting effect is about 3.5 times that of α-methylstyrene;
Granular, powdery and different Heat-resistant grades are available.
2. Uses:
(1) Used as a heat-resistant modifier for heat-resistant ABS, which has a significant effect on improving the heat-resistant temperature of ABS. Traditional α-methyl is a very popular heat-resistant ABS raw material, but recently AMI-based maleimide ABS has become more popular than α-methyl-based heat-resistant ABS; compared with traditional N-benzene The maleimide-based monomer process is more affordable, and as a heat-resistant ABS modifier material, it is very economical and effective.
(2) Used as a solvent for ABS/engineering plastic alloy resin.
