Octearyl acrylate is a clear liquid. Stearyl acrylate was prepared using microwave synthesis technology using stearyl alcohol and acrylic acid as raw materials, p-toluenesulfonic acid as catalyst and hydroquinone as polymerization inhibitor. Octearyl acrylate has good flexibility, water resistance, weather resistance, low volatility and low shrinkage.
The uses of stearyl acrylate are as follows:
Mainly used in paint leveling agents, coatings, paints, isolation agents, oil pour point depressants, Various adhesives.
Can be used as crude oil pour point depressant, fabric finishing agent, leather additive, plasticizer, and oil-absorbing resin.
Used as reactive diluent and cross-linking agent in radiation curing systems. It can also be used as resin cross-linking agent, plastic and rubber modifier.
Storage instructions:
Store at –50—+40°C in a cool place. Keep the container tightly closed and store in a dry and ventilated place.
Heat sensitive. Sensitive to light, avoid light, strong oxidants, strong acid and alkali agents, handle with care to prevent leakage.
