Changzhou Investment Group and the New Taipei District Government jointly established a Synthetic Biology Industry Fund , with a total scale of 2 billion yuan.

The Synthetic Biology Industry Fund follows the principle of "state-owned capital guidance, social capital participation", mainly invests in entrepreneurial projects and entrepreneurial enterprises in the synthetic biology industry, explores direct investment in forward-looking and strategic projects, and supports seed-stage and start-up stage technologies in the field of synthetic biology. The development and growth of large-scale enterprises will promote the formation of a complete synthetic biotechnology innovation ecosystem, promote the construction of a new economic development model of "R&D-transformation-industry" of synthetic biology, and accelerate the formation of new quality productivity.
