White oil is produced from the high-boiling fraction of petroleum fractionation (i.e. lubricating oil fraction) through dewaxing, carbonization, neutralization, activated clay decolorization and refining. Colorless and transparent oily liquid with no odor. It is stable to acid, light and heat, insoluble in ethanol, soluble in ether, benzene, petroleum ether, etc., and miscible with most fatty oils.
