National Bureau of Statistics: China s daily crude steel output in September was 2.737 million tons down 1.8% from the previous month

Data from the National Bureau of Statistics show that in September 2023, China's average daily crude steel output was 2.737 million tons, a decrease of 1.8% from the previous month; the average daily output of pig iron was 2.3847 million tons, a decrease of 0.9% from the previous month; the average daily output of steel was 3.9273 million tons, A month-on-month increase of 4.5%.

In September, China's crude steel output was 82.11 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 5.6%; pig iron output was 71.54 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 3.3%; steel output was 117.82 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 5.5%.

From January to September, China's crude steel output was 795.07 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 1.7%; pig iron output was 675.16 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 2.8%; steel output was 1,028.87 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 6.1%.
