The latest data from the General Administration of Customs shows that in September 2023, China exported 5.44 million tons of steel plates, a year-on-year increase of 95.7%; the cumulative exports from January to September were 43.61 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 31.8%.
In September, China exported 890,000 tons of steel bars, a year-on-year increase of 56.3%; from January to September, the cumulative exports were 8.26 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 50.6%.
