According to reports, on that day, customs officers at foreign ports inspected a batch of imported goods and found that the declared name of the goods was "other isocyanates" and that the goods were in barrels. After inspection and identification, the goods were hazardous chemicals listed in the "Catalogue of Hazardous Chemicals (2015 Edition)" and weighed 19.2 tons.
Since the company failed to declare hazardous chemicals in accordance with regulations, this batch of goods has been handed over to the comprehensive disposal department for processing.
Customs reminder: When making declarations, consignees or agents of imported hazardous chemicals should truthfully declare the attributes of the goods, inspection and quarantine names, hazard categories, United Nations dangerous goods numbers (UN numbers), and dangerous goods packaging marks (packaging UN mark) and other information, and submit relevant materials as required according to the declared items.
