Coal prices in Henan Province rose slightly in September

According to monitoring by the Henan Provincial Department of Commerce, the average price of coal in the province in September was 835.95 yuan/ton, an increase of 3% from the previous month. Among them, the prices of anthracite washed lump coal, coking coal, and thermal coal increased by 6.3%, 1.5%, and 1% respectively from the previous month. On the supply side, affected by safety inspections, the operating rate has declined. As the weather and temperatures drop, the daily consumption of power plants decreases, and the demand for thermal coal will decrease, creating a situation of weak supply and demand. Coal prices are expected to be stable in the near future.
