Coal prices in Yunnan Province increased slightly in the fourth week of September from the previous month

According to the Ministry of Commerce’s Important Production Materials Market Monitoring System, this week (September 25-October 1, 2023), the average coal price in Yunnan Province was 1,341.4 yuan/ton, an increase of 0.2% month-on-month. Among them, the average price of thermal coal was 874.1 yuan/ton, up 1.2% month-on-month; the average price of coking coal was 2,150 yuan/ton, the same month-on-month price; the average price of anthracite coal was 1,000 yuan/ton, the same month-on-month price. During the Double Festival, coal purchases increased slightly, and prices rose slightly from the previous month. It is expected that in the later period, coal stocks will be sufficient and prices may remain stable.
