In September China s imports of coking coal increased by 58.1% year-on-year and anthracite increased by 33.7%.

The latest data released by the General Administration of Customs shows that in September 2023, China imported 10.825 million tons of coking coal, a year-on-year increase of 58.1% and a month-on-month increase of 13.1%.

From January to September 2023, China imported a total of 73.145 million tons of coking coal, a year-on-year increase of 61.0%.

In September 2023, China imported 1.117 million tons of anthracite coal, a year-on-year increase of 33.7% and a month-on-month decrease of 21.6%.
