According to foreign news on October 24, data released by the American Petroleum Institute (API) on Tuesday showed that U.S. crude oil and refined oil inventories both fell last week.
In the week ended October 20, crude oil inventories fell by approximately 2.7 million barrels. Gasoline inventories fell by 4.2 million barrels, and distillate inventories fell by about 2.3 million barrels.
Analysts had expected that U.S. crude oil inventories increased by about 200,000 barrels last week, gasoline inventories fell by about 900,000 barrels, and distillate inventories fell by about 1.2 million barrels.
