Gu Zongqin pointed out that the proportion of domestic new coal gasification production capacity continues to increase. Under the background of "dual carbon", the new coal gasification technology with high gasification pressure, large coal input into a single furnace, and high carbon conversion rate has become the first choice for upgrading and new projects in the nitrogen fertilizer and methanol industries, and has become the mainstream process at present. The capacity and output of synthetic ammonia and methanol using new coal gasification technology are increasing year by year. According to statistics from the China Nitrogen Fertilizer Industry Association, by the end of 2023, the production capacity of synthetic ammonia using bituminous coal (including lignite) as raw material will account for 54% of the total production capacity, an increase of 11.2% over the previous year; It was down 14.2% from the previous year. Driven by the continuous expansion of the application of new coal gasification technology, my country's methanol production capacity continued to grow. Among them, the coal-to-methanol production capacity using continuous coal gasification technology increased to 72.28 million tons per year, accounting for 72% of the total production capacity, an increase over the previous year. 6%.
The large-scale and centralization of equipment has also been further improved, which has become an important direction for industrial development. According to statistics from the association, by the end of 2023, there will be 210 synthetic ammonia production enterprises in my country, of which the production capacity of synthetic ammonia with a scale of 500,000 tons/year and above accounts for 43.8% of the total, an increase of 5.6% over the previous year. In the nitrogen fertilizer and methanol industries, a number of large-scale enterprises (groups) with a production capacity of more than one million tons are leading the development of the industry.
Gu Zongqin emphasized that in the past year, the localization of key equipment and the overall technical level of the device have been significantly improved. In terms of coal gasification technology, the domestically produced new high-efficiency coal gasification technology has been continuously introduced, iteratively upgraded, and put into practical application one after another. According to the statistics of the Association, by the end of 2023, the total output of synthetic ammonia using domestic pulverized coal gasifiers, multi-nozzle gasifiers, and multi-component slurry will reach more than 20 million tons, accounting for about 70% of the synthetic ammonia output of new coal gasification technology.
In recent years, many new breakthroughs have been made in gasifier innovation. First, the development and demonstration project of 3,500 tons of daily coal input and 6.5MPa large-scale dry coal pulverized entrained bed of Aerospace Furnace was successfully put into operation in Rising Group, and the cumulative operation time has reached 620 days, marking the world's largest level and highest gasification pressure The successful development of pulverized coal gasification furnace will be recorded in the history of coal gasification development; second, Jinhua gasification furnace with radiation waste pot has been successfully promoted, and 22 sets of production devices have been promoted so far, and the application effect is good; The chemical bed + entrained bed coupling gasification device (scale of about 180,000 tons of ammonia) has been in operation for more than two years, providing a new way for the green upgrading of small and medium-sized nitrogen fertilizer enterprises; New progress has also been made in melting point raw coal. Both Aerospace Furnace and Jinhua Furnace have achieved successful industrialization practices in burning raw coal with high ash melting point (higher than 1450°C), and Kelin Furnace has achieved good results in burning high ash coal; A breakthrough has also been made in the application of environmental protection management. At present, gasification technologies such as multi-component slurry, aerospace furnace, and Jinhua furnace have been industrialized in the co-processing of gasification and hazardous waste, exploring a new path for the green development of coal gasification technology.
