Data show that in the first five months of 2023, Indonesia's exports of natural rubber (excluding compound rubber) totaled 795,000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 14%. Among them, the total export of standard rubber was 777,000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 13%; the export of smoked sheet rubber was 16,000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 22%; the export of latex was 2,100 tons, a year-on-year increase of 77%.
From January to May, the total export of natural rubber to China was 120,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 64%; the total export of mixed rubber to China was 10,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 14%.
On the whole, Indonesia exported a total of 805,000 tons of natural rubber and mixed rubber in the first five months, a year-on-year decrease of 13.3%; a total of 130,000 tons were exported to China, a year-on-year increase of 59%.
