Sinochem Tianchen Innovation Platform Pilot Base
The Sinochem Tianchen Innovation Platform located in Zibo, Shandong is operated by Sinochem Tianchen Green Energy New Materials Technology R&D (Zibo) Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Tianchen Engineering Co., Ltd. This base is the first pilot base in China’s chemical system. It is a technology incubator where China Tianchen integrates core resources, takes the initiative to undertake major national scientific research tasks, strives to make breakthroughs in “stuck neck” technologies, and accelerates the deep integration of “industry, academia, research and development”. platform.
At present, the pilot public service platform of the project has been built, the catalyst production project has been put into operation, and the nylon 12 pilot project will be fully handed over on October 18, 2023. The nylon 12 device with an annual output of 5,000 tons is the company’s largest investment to date and the first pilot project to be implemented in the innovation platform.
With the completion of the project, it will become the largest and most complete caprolactam and propylene oxide catalyst production base in China.
