BYD s power and energy storage battery installed capacity exceeded 116GWh from January to October

On the evening of November 1, BYD (002594.SZ) disclosed in its "November 2023 Production and Sales Express" that BYD's total installed capacity of new energy vehicle power batteries and energy storage batteries in October 2023 was approximately 15.286 GWh, the total installed capacity in 2023 is approximately 116.217GWh. BYD ranks top two in the global power battery installed capacity rankings.

In terms of new energy vehicle sales, the announcement showed that the monthly sales of new energy vehicles exceeded the 300,000 mark for the first time in October, reaching 301,833 units; since this year, BYD’s cumulative sales of new energy vehicles have reached 2.3815 million units, a year-on-year increase of more than 70% .

In terms of exports, BYD passenger cars set a new record for monthly export volume in October, with a total of more than 30,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 220%.
