It is reported that the 200,000-ton/year BDO degradable green new materials and supporting projects have progressed in an orderly manner since the project was filed in July 2022, and the social stability risk assessment approval, environmental impact report technical review, and energy conservation assessment have been completed. Report preparation, safety pre-evaluation report preparation and other procedures.
The main product BDO (1,4-butanediol) is 200,000 tons/year, the food grade and industrial grade sodium carbonate is 120,000 tons/year, the by-products are n-propanol 20,000 tons/year, and isobutanol is 20,000 tons/year. 2-methyl-1,3-propanediol is 30,000 tons/year, and the degradable plastic (PBS/PBAT) of the second phase project is 60,000 tons/year
The successful selection of this project can promote Wudi Xinyue Chemical Group Co., Ltd. to obtain more policy support such as financial subsidies and energy consumption indicators. The construction of this project will help to realize the "three-in-one" of Xinyue Group's oil chemical industry, salt chemical industry, and coal chemical industry, and to "increase, supplement, and strengthen chains" for it, promote the integrated development of olefins and aromatics industries, and create a "100 billion A high-end petrochemical and new material industry base", which has important practical significance.
