Recently, six products of Wanhua Chemical, MDI, TDI, IPDI, PMMA, TPU and bio-based polyether, have obtained the International Sustainable Development and Carbon Certification (ISCC)
PLUS), which means that the company has the ability to supply customers with products containing renewable and recyclable raw materials. As another practice of sustainable development, it will further support the green and low-carbon development of many downstream industries.
Wanhua Chemical chose the Mass Balance method for ISCC
PLUS-certified products and materials are managed in an integrated manner and based on the allocation of sustainable credits, breaking the constraints of physical isolation and making it possible to track the quantity and sustainability characteristics of recycled and/or bio-based materials in the value chain, ensuring that products are produced during production Maintain high quality during the process while reducing unnecessary waste of resources and environmental impact.

● MDI (diphenylmethane diisocyanate)
MDI is an important raw material for manufacturing polyurethane synthetic leather, sole solution, spandex, TPU and other products.
● TDI (toluene diisocyanate)
It is mainly used to produce polyurethane foam, which is commonly used in sofas, mattresses and car seats. It can also be used as a coating curing agent.
● IPDI (isophorone diisocyanate)
Widely used in elastomers, adhesives, water-based polyurethane resins, UV resins and ink resins.
● PMMA (polymethylmethacrylate)
Commonly found in transparent plastic products, such as light guide plates, car lampshades, eyeglass lenses and decorative materials.
● TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer)
It is widely used in the manufacture of elastic plastic products, including shoe materials, hot melt adhesive films, films, electronics, automobiles, cables and other fields.
● Bio-based polyether
It is mainly used to produce polyurethane flexible foam materials, which are widely used in home furnishings, automobiles, shoe materials, underwear and other fields.
