In the fourth week of July the price of coal in Yunnan Province rose slightly month-on-month

According to the Ministry of Commerce's important means of production market monitoring system, this week (July 24-30, 2023), the average price of coal in Yunnan Province was 1260.1 yuan/ton, a month-on-month increase of 1.9%. Among them, the average price of coking coal was 1,950 yuan/ton, up 4.3% month-on-month; the average price of anthracite was 1,000 yuan/ton, flat from the previous month; the average price of steam coal was 830.2 yuan/ton, down 1.2% month-on-month. Under the positive support of downstream steelmaking enterprises for coking coal, the slight rise in coking coal prices drove up coal prices month-on-month. It is expected that in the later period, the supply of coal will be sufficient, and the price may run smoothly.
