It was learned from the State Administration of Financial Supervision and Administration on the 6th that as of 10:00 on August 6, insurance institutions in 16 disaster-stricken areas including Hebei, Beijing, and Heilongjiang had received 189,100 insurance reports, with an estimated loss of 6.241 billion yuan. So far, 50,600 cases have been paid, and the amount of compensation is 264 million yuan.
The State Administration of Financial Supervision requires financial institutions to make every effort to improve the efficiency of disaster accident handling, to ensure that all compensation should be paid, and that compensation should be paid quickly. Ensuring the safety of people's lives and property is given top priority.
It is understood that among the insurance reports received by insurance agencies in 16 disaster-stricken areas including Hebei, Beijing, and Heilongjiang, 116,200 were reported by auto insurance, accounting for 61% of all reported cases, with an estimated loss of 1.878 billion yuan; 7,081 cases were reported, with an estimated loss of 1.622 billion yuan; 24,100 reports of agricultural insurance, with an estimated loss of 2.065 billion yuan.
