In the third week of July the price of coal in Yunnan Province rose slightly month-on-month

According to the Ministry of Commerce's important means of production market monitoring system, this week (July 17-23, 2023), the average price of coal in Yunnan Province was 1236.7 yuan/ton, a month-on-month increase of 1.2%. Among them, the average price of thermal coal was 840.2 yuan/ton, an increase of 2.7% from the previous month; the average price of coking coal was 1,870 yuan/ton, an increase of 1.1% from the previous month; the average price of anthracite was 1,000 yuan/ton, which was flat from the previous month. Downstream enterprises released demand for warehouse replenishment, and rising prices of thermal coal and coking coal drove the overall price of coal to rise month-on-month. It is expected that in the later period, the supply and demand of the coal market will be stable, and the price may run smoothly.
