In June the coal market price in Fujian Province fell steadily

According to the data from the Ministry of Commerce’s important means of production monitoring system, in June 2023, the average coal market price of sample enterprises in Fujian Province was 1485.53 yuan/ton, a month-on-month decrease of 1.8%. Among them, the market price of anthracite was 1,280.60 yuan/ton, a month-on-month decrease of 4.4%; the market price of bituminous coal was 1,588.00 yuan/ton, a month-on-month decrease of 0.7%. On the whole, the coal market prices of the monitoring sample enterprises in Fujian Province fell steadily last month. Coal mines maintained normal production in June, and the supply was relatively stable. The demand for coal in summer was lower than expected. Downstream traders were more cautious and waited and watched, and mainly purchased on demand. It is expected that the coal market price in Fujian Province will be adjusted steadily due to changes in supply and demand in the later period.
