Power auxiliary services refer to system regulation services such as peak shaving, frequency regulation, and backup that are uniformly organized and purchased by market operators in order to maintain the safe and stable operation of the power system, ensure power quality, and promote new energy consumption. As of the end of June, the installed capacity of power generation in the country was about 2.71 billion kilowatts, of which about 2 billion kilowatts were involved in power auxiliary services. In the first half of 2023, the national power ancillary service fee will total 27.8 billion yuan, accounting for 1.9% of the on-grid electricity fee.
