Recently, Shanghai Jieda Nylon Materials Co., Ltd., Henan Pingmei Shenma Nylon Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. and Hualu Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. jointly signed the “Shanghai Jieda 120,000 tons/year hexamethylenediamine Project technology license and tripartite cooperation agreement”. So far, the process technologies adopted by Jieda’s “Shanghai Jieda Nylon 66 Integrated Project” invested and constructed in Shanghai Chemical Park have all been determined.
Hexamethylenediamine plant: Adopt the most advanced low-pressure hexamethylenediamine production technology with independent intellectual property rights in China at present, and build a hexamethylenediamine plant with an annual output of 120,000 tons;
Nylon 66 polymerization device: Adopt the most advanced nylon 66 polymerization technology in the world, and INVISTA has independent intellectual property rights to build a nylon 66 polymerization device.
Shanghai Jieda Nylon 66 Integrated Project is a key project of the Shanghai Chemical Park, and is a nylon industrial park strong chain replenishment project planned by the park centered on the INVISTA Shanghai 400,000 tons/year adiponitrile project key ring in .
Project location: The project is planned to be built on the B4-6 block of the Shanghai Chemical Park, adjacent to the INVISTA nylon integration base.
Capacity scale: 120,000 tons/year of hexamethylenediamine, 120,000 tons/year of nylon 66 and nylon 610/612 resin chips, 50,000 tons/year of nylon 66/nylon 610/nylon 612 modified resin chips.

Ma Jianbo, chairman of Jieda, said that according to the plan, the production capacity of adiponitrile in INVISTA’s Shanghai project will reach 470,000 tons per year, while the production capacity of hexamethylenediamine is only 320,000 tons per year, leaving a surplus of about 150,000 tons per year of adiponitrile production capacity. And due to the limitations of the technical route, INVISTA cannot digest it by itself. According to the cooperation agreement between Shanghai Jieda and Shanghai INVISTA, Shanghai INVISTA will supply surplus adiponitrile through the pipeline corridor to Jieda. The production capacity has basically reached a balance, and the supporting digestion in the Shanghai park has been realized.

Following China Shenma and China Resources Group, Jieda is the third company to reach strategic cooperation with INVISTA (China) Investment Co., Ltd. In addition to in-depth cooperation with INVISTA, Jieda has more than 20 years of experience in polyamide 610/612 polymerization production and is one of the largest special nylon polymerization producers in China.
It is estimated that by 2025, Shanghai Jieda will achieve an annual production capacity of more than 200,000 tons of nylon 66, special nylon, and modified plastics, becoming the largest private producer of nylon 66 in China and the most important participant in the expansion of downstream applications.
