Data released by the National Bureau of Statistics recently showed that coal prices across the country rose and fell in the first ten days of August. The specific price changes of various coal types are as follows:
The price of anthracite (washed medium, volatile content ≤ 8%) was 1340.0 yuan/ton, an increase of 75.0/ton or 5.9% over the previous period.
The price of ordinary mixed coal (a mixture of fine coal and lump coal in Shanxi, with a calorific value of 4,500 kcal) was 642.3 yuan/ton, a decrease of 27.8 yuan/ton or 4.1% from the previous period.
The price of Shanxi mixed coal (good quality mixed coal, calorific value 5,000 kcal) was 743.1 yuan/ton, a decrease of 25.4 yuan/ton or 3.3% from the previous period.
The price of Shanxi excellent mixed coal (high-quality mixed coal with a calorific value of 5,500 kcal) was 843.9 yuan/ton, a decrease of 26.9 yuan/ton or 3.1% from the previous period.
The price of coking coal (main coking coal, sulfur content <1%) is 1950.0 yuan/ton, an increase of 57.1 yuan/ton or 3.0% over the previous period.
From the above data, it can be seen that in the first ten days of August, the prices of anthracite and coking coal continued to rise, but the increase narrowed, especially for coking coal; the price of thermal coal weakened again, and the prices of all coal types fell.
