Ningxia coal prices drop in June

According to the market operation monitoring system of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, in June, the hot weather continued and the demand for coal increased. However, the inventory of downstream power plants is still at a high level, which lacks support for the rise of market coal prices. Last month, the price of coal in the region was 951.33 yuan/ton, a decrease of 12%, of which the No. 2 anthracite decreased by 18.3%. In July, the high temperature weather continued, the output increased steadily, and the daily consumption of power plants increased, which led to an increase in downstream demand. However, due to the increase in import scale and sufficient market supply, the comprehensive impact of coal market prices fluctuated at a low level.
