Guangdong: Exports of solar cells increased by 57% in the first half of the year

On July 19, the Guangdong Branch of the General Administration of Customs released data showing that in the first half of the year, the foreign trade import and export of Guangdong Province was 3.86 trillion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 1.3%, of which exports were 2.55 trillion yuan, an increase of 3.6%; imports were 1.31 trillion yuan Yuan, down 9.6%.

Among them, the export of mechanical and electrical products in Guangdong in the first half of the year was 1.7 trillion yuan, an increase of 1%, accounting for 65.7% of the total export value; the export of electric passenger vehicles, lithium batteries, and solar cells increased by 7 times, 27.7%, and 57% respectively.
