In June China s imports of coking coal increased by 55.4% year-on-year and anthracite increased by 56.5%

The latest data released by the General Administration of Customs shows that in June 2023, China imported 7.745 million tons of coking coal, a year-on-year increase of 55.4% and a month-on-month increase of 15.2%.

From January to June 2023, China imported a total of 45.614 million tons of coking coal, a year-on-year increase of 75.0%.

In June 2023, China imported 2.107 million tons of anthracite, a year-on-year increase of 56.5% and a month-on-month increase of 42.7%.

From January to June 2023, China imported a total of 9.777 million tons of anthracite, a year-on-year increase of 104.4%.
