National Bureau of Statistics: In the first half of the year China s steel bar output was 117.558 million tons an increase of 0.4% year-on-year

According to the latest data from the National Bureau of Statistics, in June 2023, China's steel bar output was 20.618 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 3.0%; the cumulative output from January to June was 117.558 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 0.4%.

In June, China's output of medium-thick and wide steel strips was 17.711 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 12.9%; the cumulative output from January to June was 100.79 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 9.0%.

In June, China's wire rod (wire rod) output was 12.541 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 1.2%; the cumulative output from January to June was 70.774 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 0.8%.

In June, China's raw iron ore output was 85.155 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 1.8%; the cumulative output from January to June was 476.759 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 5.7%.
