On July 13, the National Energy Administration released data on the electricity consumption of the whole society in June.
In June, the electricity consumption of the whole society was 775.1 billion kwh, a year-on-year increase of 3.9%. In terms of industries, the electricity consumption of the primary industry was 12.2 billion kwh, a year-on-year increase of 14.0%; the electricity consumption of the secondary industry was 502.7 billion kwh, a year-on-year increase of 2.3%; the electricity consumption of the tertiary industry was 149.4 billion kwh, a year-on-year increase of 10.1% %; urban and rural residents' living electricity consumption was 110.8 billion kwh, a year-on-year increase of 2.2%.
From January to June, the total electricity consumption of the whole society was 4,307.6 billion kwh, a year-on-year increase of 5.0%. In terms of industries, the electricity consumption of the primary industry was 57.8 billion kwh, a year-on-year increase of 12.1%; the electricity consumption of the secondary industry was 2,867 billion kwh, a year-on-year increase of 4.4%; the electricity consumption of the tertiary industry was 763.1 billion kwh, a year-on-year increase of 9.9% %; Urban and rural residents' living electricity consumption was 619.7 billion kwh, a year-on-year increase of 1.3%.
