According to the monitoring data of the important means of production monitoring system of the Ministry of Commerce, the coal market price of the monitoring sample enterprises in Fujian Province this week (July 3-9, 2023) averaged 1463.09 yuan/ton, a month-on-month increase of 0.1%. Among them, the market price of anthracite was 1229.67 yuan/ton, a month-on-month decrease of 0.7%; the market price of bituminous coal was 1579.80 yuan/ton, a month-on-month increase of 0.4%. On the whole, the coal market prices of the monitoring sample enterprises in Fujian Province rose steadily this week. At present, coal mines are still operating normally, and the supply is relatively stable. With the continuous high temperature weather, the inventory of bituminous coal in power plants has decreased, and the demand has increased, driving up the market price of bituminous coal. It is expected that the coal market price in Fujian Province will be adjusted steadily due to the influence of changes in supply and demand in the later period.
